Lots.
Maybe a better question would be which would change more? And why?
And what would the better answer be??
maybe nothing would change
Do we think that the majority of Christians live as if God does or doesn’t exist? I’m not sure.
And I think, in line with what Halden brings up, we must wonder about the grammars that effect our language of god’s existence. It is a hard thing to critique whether or not a person is acting in concert with a belief that god does or does not exists (whatever that could mean). It is an easier thing to critique those who claim the existence of a god for how their god exists. I think there are many Christians who believe that god exists as a blood-thirsty murderer, for example. Or maybe I’m not making sense, and still critiquing your question without providing an attempt at a constructive answer.
Yes. I think Alex is right. It’s not always whether or not god exists, but what kind of god we believe exists.
Hmm. . . Let’s see. George Bernard Shaw once said that God made us in his image, and we decided to return the favor. I think he was absolutely correct and for that reason I think there would be no significant change either way. It seems every version of Christianity has created their own God that makes them feel good about what they wanted to believe in the first place.
